the sport of reining. It is packed full of information about the

Horseman --the leading general interest horse

highlight the latest in fashion and accessories. Additionally,
there is photo coverage of winning horses, tours of leading horse
farms, and consumer advice on a range of equine products. |

Class Reining by Shawn Flarida and Craig Schmersal -
This a great book written by two Top NRHA trainers. They cover
the whole gamete of showing and training for the reiner. It is
full of great photographs too. |
| Reining
by Al Dunning
- This a updated version of an older book that Al wrote in conjunction
with Western Horseman years ago. They have put it out in an updated
format and new photographs. Good info. |
| Clinton
Anderson's Downunder Horsemanship Establishing Respect and Control
- This book is not related specifically to reining, but it is
about training. Clinton has a ton of info out there on starting
horses. |
| Ride
Smart: Improve Your Horsemanship Skills on the Ground and in the
Saddle by Craig Cameron - This is a book that Craig
did in conjunction with Western Horseman. This is solid book on
horsemanship. Craig is good clinician, great guy, and very entertaining. |
| Western
Horseman Books - Western Horseman has done
a great job publishing a bunch of books on a variety of horse
training and related issues. |
| Reining:
The Art of Performance in Horses by Bob Loomis:
- Bob is a legend in the reining horse industry. He is an all
time leading breeder and a highly accomplished trainer. This is
a great book on Bob's philosphy on training and care. |
